Map directions – Tacoma to Puyallup
Tacoma is Northwest of Puyallup. Here are two different routes:
• From the south end or east Tacoma, go east on 72nd Street until it ends at Pioneer Way. You will travel about 3 1/2 miles after you cross Portland Ave. E. until you come to Pioneer Way. Turn right onto Pioneer Way and go about a mile and a half to 3rd Street SW. Pioneer Way is called 3rd Avenue inside the Puyallup city limits, so do not confuse3rd Avenue with 3rd Street. Turn right at 3rd Street SW. Go two blocks and All Saints Church will be on the SE corner of 3rd Street SW and 5th Avenue SW.
• From north Tacoma or the downtown area, take I-5 north. Take the Puyallup Exit - #135, and exit onto E 28th Street. E 28th turns into E Bay Street. At the next light, the road forks, with River Road on the left, Pioneer Way in the middle, and E Grandview (a much smaller street) on the extreme right. Take the middle fork, Pioneer Way. Pioneer Way winds through the valley and goes into Puyallup. Pioneer Way changes names inside the city of Puyallup and becomes 3rd Avenue SW. Continue along 3rd Ave SW, then turn right at 3rd Street SW. Go two blocks and All Saints Church will be on the SE corner of 3rd Street SW and 5th Avenue SW.
